Brief

Design a digital interface and content layout to promote the ZeKju and Transporeon integration, helping Trimble demonstrate how drivers, dispatchers, and yard operators benefit from app-free messaging tools. In collaboration with Trimble EU for regional outreach.

Overview

This project simplifies a complex logistics workflow into an engaging, interactive digital presentation. The visual design supports real-time messaging, visibility, document exchange, and compliance, all while maintaining Trimble’s branded style and clarity across devices.

Solution

I designed a series of modular UI layouts using the Foleon platform, integrating brand-approved fonts, visuals, and iconography. Each section was tailored to highlight product benefits, process flows, and value points for all user types (drivers, dispatchers, and yard operators).

Insights

Understanding Logistics Communication Challenges

App fatigue & fragmented tools

Many drivers prefer not to install new apps. ZeKju works through WhatsApp, Telegram, or Viber (no downloads required). Onboarding takes less than 30 seconds

Drivers prefer familiar chat workflows

Drivers consistently describe ZeKju as “just chat like with friends.” The familiarity of messenger apps enhances usability and acceptance, making logistics communication feel effortless rather than burdensome

Multilingual Messaging Enhances Inclusivity

With real-time translation across 24 languages, ZeKju breaks down language barriers in international logistics teams. Drivers and dispatchers benefit from clearer, automated communication without language friction

Driver Location Sharing & Arrival Confirmation

Supports the key feature: App-free digital communication

Function

Location Sharing

Visualizes how drivers can share location via familiar apps

Dispatcher Interface with Key Feature Stack

Supports the key feature: Built-in Translation, Real-Time ETA Alerts, POD Collection

Role-Based Features

Breaks down features into role-relevant modules

This UI visual that I created demonstrates a seamless driver interface where arrival is confirmed through a messaging app. It highlights real-time geolocation and communication simplicity without requiring an app install.

Free Messaging Tools

Use messaging-style UX to emphasize app-free integration

This layout that I made visualizes the dispatcher experience by stacking functional cards next to a smiling user. Each card represents a system capability using icons and color-coded strips.

  • Canvas size:

    1400×1400 px

  • Main UI elements:

    • Floating feature cards with icons (Bell, Truck, Location, Document, Currency)

    • Language dropdown with globe icon

    • Profile of a dispatcher at a modern workstation

  • Style:

    •  Minimalist cards with soft shadows, slight blur for hierarchy

    • Icons use line-style consistent with Trimble visual library

    •  Color codes: blue (ETA/location), green (finance), light gray (messaging/docs)

  • Canvas size:

    1400x1400 px

  • Main UI elements:

    • Green speech bubble with “Send location” action

    • Embedded map card with checkmark confirmation

    • Real-world background photo (driver with tablet, in logistics setting)

  • Style:

    •  Rounded edges and soft drop shadows to match Trimble’s clean/minimal aesthetic

    • Modern UI speech bubble styled like WhatsApp/Telegram interactions

    • Neutral and branded color palette (green, blue-gray, white)

Language Accessibility

Inclusive communication with a visible language dropdown

I created a clean, intuitive process flow diagram to explain the full data communication cycle between shippers, carriers, drivers, ZeKju, and the Transporeon platform.

My Contribution:

  • Designed custom step-by-step icons based on Trimble’s visual guidelines, each placed inside white circular containers with subtle drop shadows to enhance clarity and maintain a clean, minimalist aesthetic.

  • Built a linear directional flow using arrows to guide the user naturally through each interaction step.

  • Applied a numbered structure (01–06) with color-coded visual cues (e.g., driver app, data packets) to reinforce sequence and improve scannability.

  • The layout effectively transforms a technical integration into a visually accessible and easy-to-follow experience.

Discovered

Visual storytelling through step-by-step flows and modular cards made complex logistics much easier to understand for different user roles.

Learned

Designing responsively across devices pushed me to think in flexible layouts, while working within Trimble’s brand system taught me how to stay creative within guidelines.

Takeaway

Clear structure and simple visuals are powerful, especially when turning technical workflows into user-friendly, engaging experiences.

Foleon

The final design is a responsive, interactive digital factsheet I created to clearly communicate the Trimble × ZeKju integration. By using modular, card-based layouts and aligning with Trimble’s Presentation design system, I transformed complex logistics into clear, role-specific storytelling—resulting in a cohesive, accessible experience that supports stakeholder engagement and lead generation.
